Here's a contrast...First, here's what Trump has said not many years ago:
"I'm not afraid to tell you where I stand. I'm a conservative on issues of personal responsibility. As a Christian, faith is central to my life. I oppose gay marriage, I support restrictions on abortion — no public funding and parental consent — and I’ve helped politicians pass a state law banning partial birth abortion while [politician Trump disliked] only promoted a law banning partial birth abortion which he knew was unconstitutional, this guy's just playing politics with abortion, so thanks to him New York has no ban. I put principle over politics, so with me you always know where you stand!"
Wait did Trump really say that?? Hold on a minute, first, in contrast, here's what Hillary's VP Tim Kaine said:
"[Planned Parenthood] They do good things, I'm talking about things that have nothing to do with the abortions...So look, there's two Planned Parenthoods in a way. You have it as an abortion clinic, that's actually a fairly small part of what they do....They also, however, service women and one of the things that I thought was so terrible was when Bush we were talking about women's health issues, he was so bad, and it's like 'what is he doing?' We have to help women. A lot of women need help so we have to look at the positive also for Planned Parenthood I would look at (how to help Planned Parenthood reach more women who need reproductive health) very strongly. We have to help women...I'm against the abortion aspect of Planned Parenthood, but I've had many women. I've had many women come up and say Planned Parenthood serves a good function other than that one aspect" -Donald Trump on Fox News, speaking BEFORE winning Republican Primary, willing to hurt himself by saying this

Before I make a confession, let me say that I'm pro-choice and don't agree with DT's "anti-abortion" talk...but the above two quotes are wrong, they were switched! While disagreeing with the "anti-abortion" words Trump absolutely needed to say to get the nomination, Trump's actual position makes him more moderate than practically any other< recent Republican candidate, stunning Fox News when he defended Planned Parenthood.

In fact, he's been a candidate who (notwithstanding his bad positions and sometimes tendency towards xenophobia and crass language) he's in fact not only helped move the Republican Party in a more moderate direction on this issue, but in an area where nationwide common ground can be found (so with common ground, we can actually get something positive passed, even if still an uphill battle to get even a modest version of anything passed through Congress!) namely, the common ground of reproductive health access for all women, particularly those of more modest means.

What the actual Trump has actually said is far better than the "I'm a Christian Conservative! I've worked to restrict Abortion! I'm very conservative here!" Tim Kaine in many, many areas (and yes worse in one area, forcing himself to say the words that he is "against abortion" - or wait, did Tim Kaine say that too, after all, see below!) and overall, especially in terms of damage that could be done — recall that while the Clinton' s allowed reproductive rights to erode while "liberal America" went to sleep, any backwards step by a President Trump would be strongly opposed by middle of the road Democrats and Democratic politicians who would go to sleep and let (and have in the past let) the Conservative Clintons get away with so much more backsliding — overall is arguably ahead of Kaine's positions and Kaine and Hillary Clinton's ability to sneak in or allow erosion of access to happen. The real Trump, stunning the Fox host:

TRUMP: [Planned Parenthood] They do good things, I'm talking about things that have nothing to do with the abortions...So look, there's two Planned Parenthoods in a way. You have it as an abortion clinic, that's actually a fairly small part of what they do, but it is a brutal part. And I'm totally against it, and I wouldn't do that. They also, however, service women and one of the things that I thought was so terrible was when Jeb Bush we were talking about women's health issues, he was so bad, and it's like 'what is he doing?' We have to help women.

"A lot of women need help so we have to look at the positive also for Planned Parenthood. Even a guy like you [Sean Hannity], you may be convinced it does some positive things. I would look at it very strongly. We have to help women...

"I'm totally against the abortion aspect of Planned Parenthood, but I've had many women. I've had many Republican, conservative women come up and say Planned Parenthood serves a good function other than that one aspect

This doesn't make DT a "nice guy" — and we don't think he is! — it does highlight the incredibly dishonest spin by media that hides Hillary's true record (very murky positions on Abortions, her VP used to champion and even campaigned on his anti-abortion clauses; and access to abortion and reproduction health went DOWN in Clinton 1990s) and not telling us the truth: Trump is terrible in rhetoric and some of his positions but on Planned Parenthood DT is the least-evil, most moderate Republican to have run. Yes, Tim Kaine said the above words, only not "A Christian" but said he (Tim Kaine) is a "Former Christian Missionary"

And oops, we exaggerated in Tim Kaine's favor again; Tim Kaine's also on record as saying he too is "against abortion" and that's a direct quote (video) That was Virginia as recently as 2005. Not something we can ignore.

But what about Tim Kaine on abortion now in 2016? Basically again he's trying to have it both ways that he'll respect the law (permitting abortion) but personally, is against: "personally, I'm opposed to abortion" (video)

Hillary Clinton is to the right of Obama...and Obama recently nominated Merrick Garland whose views on abortion are "very murkey" notes Huffington Post. Hillary herself has hedged when asked [links coming, we've seen videos] on abortion: is is CLEAR on one thing: it's not a blanket "allow it" for abortion, but more of a nuanced yes-ish. In the sound bites in speeches it's "yes", but when pressed, it's quite the opposite from clear cut. Does she want to have it both ways? Or should be believe her when she said decades after the fact that she is "proud" of her support in the 1960s for anti-Civil Rights Republican Barry Goldwater because deep down she's proud of her "conservative values"?

And have you ever noticed? Every 4 years, Republicans shout that if a Democrat gets into office, all taxes will skyrocket and all guns will be confiscated! — but also, every 4 years the Democratic Establishment plays a similar game and shouts that if a Republican became President, abortion will be made illegal. One of these predictions has ever materialized. Abortion was not criminalized after 8 years of Reagan, nor under 4 years of Bush Sr, nor under 8 years of the disastrous George W. Bush administration.

But what about the erosion of access to contraception and other reproductive health? In fact, studies have shown that access to reproductive health care including abortion actually declined very significantly during the Clintons' 8 year long tenure in power. Makes you wonder about all those Democratic Establishment scare tactics trying to bully you into voting for their candidate, no matter how corrupt, dishonest, and anti-women they are in so many other ways, doesn't it?
